Senior Software Engineer, Backend
- Develop and maintain backend services that power Grab's Transport App
- Collaborate with Designers and Product Managers to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Own end-to-end software delivery, from problem definition through production release
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive, actionable feedback to team members
- Support on-call operations and drive initiatives to reduce on-call burden for the team
- Design and implement SDLC agentic workflows to enhance team productivity
- Establish technical standards for software development in the team
- Stay current with latest technologies and industry trends to lead innovation within the team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, focused on designing and building scalable systems
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language
- Extensive experience with backend systems, including databases, caching, NoSQL, and application servers
