Get to Know the Role
As the Intern, Analytics & projects, GrabFood, you will report to the Manager of GrabFood Singapore, and drive business growth through rigorous data analytics, end-to-end campaign execution, and market intelligence.
You will take ownership of your learning, bring a steadfast curiosity to learn, and thrive with autonomy. If you are a proactive self-starter who always aims to excel and make a tangible impact, we want to hear from you.
This is a full-time internship that runs onsite in the One-North office from January 2027 (6 months).
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will help plan and analyse strategic projects for GrabFood's growth and optimization
- You will provide operational and project management support for demand-generation campaigns, including setup, documentation, and post-campaign analysis
- You will conduct in-depth data analysis to facilitate decision-making, identify issues, and develop solutions
- You will perform market research on competitive landscape and growth opportunities within the food delivery industry
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the execution of different programs
- You will develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics
- You will Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc analyses
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You are pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or other relevant fields
- You have analytical skills with proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data from diverse sources
- You have experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- You have a basic understanding of statistical analysis and its application in business contexts
- You have stellar written and verbal proficiency, with the ability to present complex data in a clear, concise manner
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations
- You handle multiple responsibilities concurrently while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- You have a creative mindset with a passion for using data to drive business decision

My internship experience at Grab was truly captivating. I had interned at other organisations before Grab. However, interning at Grab revealed that I wished to experience exciting, meaningful work and a warm and friendly culture. During my internship, I discovered my liking for backend engineering. After interning for 3 months, I returned to school and applied for a full-time role with the same team.
